A Light-Filled Stockholm Apartment with Bright Color Pops
This two-bedroom apartment is located on the third floor of a beautiful Art Nouveau building in Stockholm. This apartment is wonderfully bright and airy with windows in two directions, a light color scheme, and high ceilings.
Turn-of-the-century elements like molding and mirror panels add charm and showcase the history of the building. These historical elements are paired with a bright and contemporary interior scheme with the occasional color pop.

High ceilings and large windows make this living room wonderfully bright and airy. The walls are painted in a light beige shade, and the wooden floorboards add a warm and natural element to the space.

The living room is mainly decorated in light-colored and natural furniture, but the occasional color pop adds fun elements, like the green, arched Muller van Severed wall lamp or the cobalt blue blanket.

Instead of placing furniture on the ground, the owners opted for a floating bookcase and glass cabinet, adding to that airy atmosphere in the room.

The apartment has two bedrooms, both can be accessed via the living room. The master bedroom is painted in a calm, dark green hue paired with ochre yellow bedding.

The room is small, but big enough for a double bed with nightstands, and the large window floods the room with warm, natural light. The deep window sill can also be used for storage.

The second bedroom does not have a window, so an inner window has been fitted in the wall between the master bedroom and the “half room” (as they call it), to ensure the second room gets some natural light.

The second bedroom is painted in a beige color with green undertones. One wall has been fitted with a wardrobe system, hidden by light colored curtains. A red mirror and rug add a nice color accents.

The room is now decorated as a nursery but it can also be a wonderful home office or a walk-in closet.

The kitchen is bright and airy with plenty of space for a dining table. If the table is turned a quarter, you can also add built-in benches along two walls for even more seating space.

The white mirror door cabinets are paired with porcelain knobs and a Carrara marble countertop.

There is a nice combination of cabinets and shelves in the kitchen, creating a lively atmosphere. The walls are painted in Jotun’s Stockholm White.

The small hall has a hat rack and a shoe shelf built on site in a period style that suits the building’s architecture.
