The owners worked with architect Adam Draper of Draper Studio to create this home. They used a material palette of limestone, terrazzo and Tadelakt together with chalky colors to create this stylish and serene home.
The home features many original details but the color and materials choices add a fresh, modern look to the home. The house also includes a front and back garden and a lovely conservatory connecting to the back garden.
Oak floorboards lie on the entire ground floor. At the front of the house lies the sitting room with a large bay window and fireplace.
The sitting room is painted in a cheerful green hue (Breakfast Room Green by Farrow & Ball) which is combined with modern furniture.
At the back of the house is the open plan kitchen, dining room, and conservatory. The kitchen has light gray cabinets by Nakedkitchens combined with Terrazzo worktops.
For a natural touch to the kitchen they added a solid oak kitchen island.
The walls in the kitchen are painted in Strong White by Farrow & Ball.
Connecting to the kitchen is this bright orangery. The light space has windows on two sides and a lantern roof. The timber is painted in a muted green shade which reflects the green garden outside.
On the first floor are three bedrooms. The master bedroom has walls painted in Setting Plaster by Farrow & Ball.
The wooden floorboards are original to the house and have been sanded. The ceiling is deliberately left untreated.
The room includes a beautiful original marble fireplace.
The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with green hexagon floor tiles and herringbone wall tiles.
At the front of the house lies a minimal family bathroom. The walls are covered in ombré effect Tadelakt using shades of pink and yellow. On a raised step stand the freestanding oval bath by Lusso Stone and a walk-in shower.
At the back of the house is a lovely garden with several seating areas and a big lawn.
