Moroccan-Inspired Designs in a Unique Artist Family Home in London
On a traditional London street with beautiful Edwardian houses lies the home of artist Natasha Mann and her family. Natasha and her family transformed the house in 2020, pairing the traditional Edwardian architecture with Moroccan-inspired designs.
This five-bedroom house is truly unique. The rich colors, textures, and patterns complement the Edwardian architecture beautifully. Most decorative elements are hand-painted by award-winning artist Natasha Mann, inspired by the geometric intricacies of Moroccan design.

The formal sitting room lies at the front of the house and is centered around an Edwardian fireplace featuring the same tilework as the hallway.
Warm polished pine floorboards run underfoot and are paired with walls painted in ‘Breakfast Room Green’ by Farrow and Ball and joinery painted in the cheerful ‘Babouche.’
Old and new are combined in the extended kitchen space. The open-plan living area features large skylights and floor-to-ceiling doors leading to the garden.
The kitchen, designed by Pluck, features elm wood veneer, yellow, and green cabinets with glossy caesar stone countertops, and dark green Milagros backsplash tiles.
The kitchen island features a beautiful copper sink from The French House.
The walls in the open-plan kitchen space are painted in Farrow & Ball’s ‘Palm Green’.
A lovely sitting area has been created around the original Edwardian fireplace, painted in a deep teal green shade.
The hallway is painted in Farrow & Ball’s ‘Blue Ground’, paired with black and white floor tiles and a hand-painted ceiling.
The ceiling is hand-painted by Natasha.
The downstairs powder room features glazed green tiles from Milagros, wallpaper by William Morris x Ben Pentreath, and sanitaryware from the London Basin Company.
The master bedroom features hand-painted wardrobes by Natasha next to the traditional Edwardian fireplace.
The master bedroom is painted in a peach pink shade from Farrow & Ball paired with ‘Palm Green’ woodwork.
The family bathroom features the same dark green tiles as the kitchen and powder room downstairs. It is paired with a stained glass window, terracotta floor tiles from Bert and May, and a hand-painted ceiling in gold leaf and egg tempera by Natasha.
The small nursery is a charming space painted in a dark green shade paired with a hand-painted border and curtains made by Birds and Beasts fabric from Fanny Shorter.
You enter the house through the original timber door, painted in a lovely blue shade and fitted with newly commissioned stained-glass panels supplied by specialists Art with Glass.
