It’s been a while since I’ve posted a Scandinavian home but today I’ve got a lovely 1 bedroom apartment for you. Located in Sweden’s second city Gothenburg this 1920s apartment is packed with charm and decorated in natural color tones like green and grey combined with natural wooden floors.
Though it’s only a 1-bedroom apartment it feels quite spacious thanks to the open-plan living, kitchen and hallway. The small ‘inner hall’ leading to the bedroom is now being used as a workspace.
The classic shaker-style kitchen is painted in a grey shade (Antique Grey) with white tiles and a warm wooden countertop. Double doors lead to the balcony overlooking the green courtyard. The living room is decorated in a light color scheme but the large shag rug and other textiles give it a warm look.
A nice natural touch in the living room is the green wall painted in Jotun Pale Linden. Rustic double wooden doors (recovered from an old schoolbuilding) lead to the spacious green (Jotun Tender Green) bedroom. I love the natural and charming look in this apartment.
