New IKEA Collection April 2025: Colorful Designs and Patterns
It is Spring, and this is the perfect time to give your home a fresh new look. IKEA has just released a new collection that will launch in April 2025, filled with fresh products to help you create a new look for your home.
This season, IKEA introduces new (and old) products full of bold patterns, lively colors, and playful details that’ll light up your home. From quirky egg-themed bedding to old classics in a new vibrant color and colorful textiles.

IKEA Spring Textile Collection 2025
“When designing the Spring 2025 textile collection, I wanted to focus on new beginnings. All things bright and optimistic. I included soft pastels and vibrant hues to create a feeling of bloom and to inspire moments of joy and connection to nature.
I especially love the sunny side up egg on the ÖGONLOCKSMAL cushion cover – it brings a twinkle to your eyes. I hope this collection helps everyone to welcome the arrival of spring into their homes with open arms.” says designer Hannah Wilcox.
Looking to wake up with a smile? The new Scandinavian modern style coordination is here to brighten your mornings.
Think fresh blinds that block out the light but still bring the fun, a vibrant yellow chair, and bold black-and-white patterned rugs and cushions.
You don’t need to go big to refresh your home. A smiley FRÖVÄXT vase, and ÖGONLOCKSMAL egg-themed cushion, and a SPETSBOJ table lamp will instantly lift the entire room, and bring a touch of joy to your every day.
Give black and white a playful update. A splash of color can wake up your space, refresh the vibe, and brighter your mood for the day ahead.
The new, colorful LYCKAN chair works perfectly as a bedside table, too.
The new FRIDANS blackout blinds blocks out the world and brings in a little sunshine. The blind is 195 centimeters long, so it gives you full privacy and blocks out all light to transform your room into the perfect spot to sleep – day or night.
Designed with safety in mind, this blind is completely cordless, keeping your little ones out of harm’s way.
“With the NATTHÄGER collection, I want to transform bedtime into an exciting jungle adventure with zebras roaming, tigers roaring, and crocodiles splashing around. All with cure ears and tails and in colors that reflect tropical hues,” says designer Hannah Wilcox
The LYCKAN Chair
The iconic LYCKAN chair comes in classic birch, black (limited markets only), and a new bright yellow wood veneer for instant good vibes.
The cantilever design offers a gentle bounce and curves that mold to your body shape, keeping you comfy whether you’re enjoying dinner or lost in a good book. Plus, the warm wood grain shines through, adding an inviting touch that beds you to sit back and stay a while.
Happy New Products
Refresh your home and bring a smile to your day with playful pops of color. Add TRÄDSTAM candle holders inspired by swim rings, multicolored KLIBBKORSÖRT bedding, and a bright pink GURLI cushion for an instant lift to your home and mood.
Mix and match bursts of pink, orange, and blue, plus playful patterns like stipes, florals, and bold squares, to create a space that makes you think, “Yes, this is my place.”
With smart updates like a new daybed with hidden storage, a trolley that moves wherever you do, and vibrant textiles, creating a feel-good space full of good vibes has never been easier.
The KUNGSLJUSMAL meter fabric can be used to create a kimono, cushion cover, or any other fun item you can imagine.
It doesn’t take a lot to energize a room. Small items like a cactus-inspired ÄRTBUSKE watering can, a bold blue DOFTBRÄKEN vase, and a bright BLÅSVERK table lamp are all you need to give your and your living space a boost.
Sometimes, your living room needs a recharge as much as you do. The good news is, it only takes a few fun additions to give the room a fresh burst of energy. Add a bright red lamp, bold green shelves, a playful multicolored sofa, and other new coordinated pieces – for a whole new spot to kick back and relax.
And when it’s time to wind down, simply roll away the coffee table, whip off the sofa-bed cover, and flick off the light for a peaceful night’s sleep.
KRÖNIKÖR is an expressive new shelving system for storing books, vinyls, and all those little treasures that make a house feel like home. Compact and light, the freestanding shelves are ideal for small spaces and can be placed in any room—snug by the wall, tucked behind the sofa, or steal the spotlight in the middle.
Need more space? It’s easy to place several KRÖNIKÖR side by side to create a beautiful display and keep the memories growing.
BILLY is a classic IKEA piece that now also comes in green!
Bring in the sunshine with the new yellow VITTSJÖ – sleek metal frame, glass shelves, and a bright new look. It is the perfect place to put your favorite pieces in the spotlight.
New Kitchen Products
The traditional, glazed BRUGDHAJ series, in beige, brown, and blue stoneware, is perfect for storing and organizing. Be it salt and pepper, olive oil, utensils, or potted herbs, these jars fir right in on your worktop or shelf, keeping everything within reach.
“The inspiration for the BRUGDHAJ series comes from the traditional mustard jars and other rustic stoneware with a glazed surface. My idea is that it serves as practical everyday food storage, suitable for everything from dry goods and spices to sauces and utensils.
The crafted look has a tactile feel with a mix of matte and glossy finishes. I hope many find it so decorative that they keep it on display on the kitchen counter or put it on the dining table for a nice table setting,” says designer Francis Cayouette
The TRÖSKNING bin is your waste-sorting sidekick. Whether it’s for plastic, metal, or other waste, or even for storing garden tools, this bin does it all.
Made from at least 50% recycled plastic, it is freestanding and can be placed anywhere – in a cupboard, under a bench, or on a shelf. The clever foldable lid lets you stack bins up to 90cm high while still being able to reach inside.
With its compact, stackable design and built-in handles, trips to the recycling station are a breeze.
The new IKEA collection will be available in stores and online from April 2025. For the latest IKEA news, you can follow this page.
