A Scandinavian Apartment with a Rust Red Bedroom
On the ground floor of a Swedish apartment building lies a beautiful light home decorated with a beautiful color palette and two bedrooms. The apartment was completely renovated in recent years, adding new colors, floors, and kitchen, and optimizing the layout to make it feel larger than its 68 square meters.
With windows on three sides, the house is very light. Thanks to its ground-floor location, it also has a spacious terrace in the courtyard, which is a real extension of the living spaces in the summer months.
Thanks to the corner location, with windows in two directions, the living room is light filled.
The walls in the living room are painted in a warm and neutral shade called ‘Hummus’ by Jotun.
There are no doors between the living room and the hall, making the room feel more spacious.
The kitchen is big enough for a generous dining table. The white kitchen cabinets are paired with a mint green glass mosaic and granite worktop. The walls are painted in ‘Tender Green’ by Jotun.
The walls in the inner hallway are decorated with the wallpaper “Raphael” from Sandbergs.
You don’t often see red walls in the bedroom, but this apartment shows how beautiful a warm red shade can look in this room. The paint color is ‘Muted Coral’ from Jotun.
The smaller bedroom is now used as a children’s bedroom with walls painted in “Blushing Peach” from Jotun, which is a grounded earthy color.
The hallway features Moroccan tiles and the walls are painted in the muted ‘Hummus’ shade from Jotun.
