Serene Loft In A Former School Building in Amsterdam

We’re going back to school with this loft in Amsterdam. The serene loft is situated in a former primary school of the early 20th-century. Inside no traces are left from the former school apart from some old doors.

The interior is a combination of modern design and classic pieces in warm materials. I love how they incorporated the workspace in the living room with low white cabinets ranging the entire wall and a desk space in the corner.

You can easily copy that with IKEA BESTÅ cabinets. And because of the placement behind the sofa and the white color you don’t really notice it (plus you can use the cabinets for storage and to display artwork and other personal items. To top it all off the loft also has a huge roof terrace with views over Amsterdam, yes please!
