A Serene Studio Apartment with a Beautiful Green Kitchen
On the top floor of a well-preserved 1920s apartment building in one of Stockholm’s coziest areas lies this charming studio apartment with original details, large windows, and a spacious kitchen.
Original details such as serving cabinets, mirrored doors, moldings, stucco, espagnolettes, and window sills in deep niches breathe 1920s charm, while the renovation a couple of years ago brought modern amenities to the home.

The 38-square-meter apartment features a fine wooden floor from the year of construction, which has been sanded to restore it to its former glory.

The entire apartment is decorated in an inviting atmosphere. The main room features walls painted in a calm gray hue from Farrow & Ball.

The room features a small niche, which is the perfect spot for the bed.

The room also has a spacious and original built-in wardrobe with hanging rods.

A cozy sitting area has been placed in front of the window, featuring gray-toned textiles and large art for a calm yet cozy vibe.

The furnishings are calm and minimalistic, and there is enough space for a home office next to the window.

The large windows facing southwest look out over the leafy courtyard, designed in a park-like style, with a barbecue area, gazebo, garden furniture, roses, lavender, fruit trees, and crops.Â

An open doorway leads you to the heart of the home, the kitchen. The kitchen was remodeled during the renovation and features plenty of workspace and a spacious dining area in front of the window.

A wooden folding table and a wall-mounted bench form the perfect spot for morning coffee or a cozy dinner, overlooking the leafy courtyard from the window.

The modern green cabinets are topped with a Carrara marble countertop and a butler sink. The walls are painted in a soft beige-gray hue from Farrow & Ball.

Old and new meet in this charming kitchen. In the corner of the room stands an original serving pantry from the 1920s.

The tiny bathroom was also renovated a couple of years ago in a timeless style featuring white wall tiles and brown hexagon floor tiles. The ceiling is also painted in a dark shade to fully embrace the contrast.

The white shower curtain with brown dods embraces the white and brown color scheme of the smallest room in the house.

The entry to the home is welcoming, and directly to the right of the front door is a hanging niche with a hat shelf and a shoe rack.
