Soft Colors in a Charming Corner Apartment in Stockholm
This charming corner apartment, built in 1929 in a pink apartment building in Stockholm, is decorated in a soft blue, gray, and green color palette. The 47-square-meter apartment faces the park, and views of the tree canopies and the sky from all three windows make the home private and connected to nature.
The small apartment has a nice flowing floor plan, and all rooms have wooden floors, which tie them together. The home has fine old details, including a generous ceiling height, moldings, lamp rosettes, and plank floors.

In the living room, the walls are painted in a light blue shade inspired by the sky seen from the windows.
The light blue walls are paired with blue and yellow color accents in the home decor. The natural rug with soft orange and green stripes ties the sitting area together.
Via the hall with built-in wardrobes you enter the apartment’s only bedroom.
The walls in the bedroom are painted in a calming gray-green color that goes well with the original light plank floor.
Yellow table lamps and the throw add a sunny color pop to the room.
Attached to the bedroom is a small built-in closet where the owners used all available space, adding hanging rods and shelves for maximum storage space.
The kitchen was renovated a couple of years ago, adding cabinets and brass fittings to a style that suits the apartment’s year of construction.
It’s a small home, but the owners maximized storage space. Above the kitchen cabinets, open cupboards were added for books and other items.
In front of the window, with views of the trees outside, is space for a small kitchen table.
The walls in the hall are painted in a light blue color with white joinery. By the front door, a built-in coat and shoe cabinet have been fitted to create a tidy entrance.
