A Stockholm Apartment with Bright Green Color Accents
On the fourth floor of a 1920s apartment building in Stockholm lies an open-plan home with bold green accents. The previous owners were architects, and they created a social open-plan floor plan that makes the most of every inch of space in this 72-square-meter apartment.
The apartment is very light thanks to the windows on two sides. Thanks to the windows and the high ceilings, the home has an airy feeling. The apartment features carpentry that’s almost a century old, which is paired with site-built furniture and storage space in the awkward nooks of the home.
What stands out most in this apartment are the bold green accents in the living room and home office. It’s not a color you often see used in this manner, but I think it looks magnificent.
I hope you like green. The living room with its original herringbone floor and doors leading to the balcony also gives us an amazing color pop with the window trims and radiators painted in a vibrant green shade.
The living room has an open floorplan with on the right a home office and on the other side of the sofa a kitchen.
The connecting part has a home office with built-in bookshelves, a desk, and built-in original cupboards. Behind the home office is a children’s bedroom that can be accessed via this room and via the hallway.
The kitchen is located in the middle of the room and features vanilla yellow cabinets.
The master bedroom is located at the back of the house. The beige walls and wooden floor create a calm atmosphere.
Next to the bedroom is a walk-in closet where the clothes are hidden by a beautiful curtain.
The hallway is painted in a lovely light blue shade.
