A Stunning Bathroom in a Duplex Apartment in Stockholm
No expenses have been spared in the design of this corner apartment in Stockholm. The duplex apartment was renovated into a gorgeous home with an open-plan living space on the lower floor and a hotel-style bedroom and bathroom on the top floor.
The apartment is very light thanks to the corner position and the windows in two directions. Modern and old-fashioned coexist in an appealing way, and preserved original details such as moldings and windows give the apartment a charming look.
The lower floor, with the open plan kitchen and living room, is decorated in a light, stylish design and color scheme. For a color pop, you must go upstairs to the master bathroom, where deep red tiles give the bathroom a unique and luxurious look.
The entire lower floor is home to a spacious open-plan living room and kitchen. The living space is decorated in a light color scheme with light gray walls and light-painted floorboards. The blue kitchen cabinets add a muted color pop to the room.
A large jute rug defines the sitting area in the living space. Large windows overlook the park opposite the apartment building, it feels like you’re in the countryside instead of in the city.
The staircase is fitted with underneath cabinets to provide lots of storage space.
With the kitchen in the center of the space, they have created natural zones in the room with on one side of the island a dining table and on the other side the lounge area.
The apartment has a spacious balcony that runs around the corner and with views of the park.
The kitchen adds a subtle color accent to the living space. The cabinets are painted in a muted gray-blue shared, paired wth a concrete worktop and brass handles.
Modern and traditional design come together in the staircase where a simple steel frame is paired with classic dark stained wooden cabinets.

The entire top floor is home to a hotel-style master bedroom en suite with slanted ceilings and exposed beams that give the room character. With windows on two sides, the room is pretty light for an attic room.
The bedroom has a teak wooden floor, and the walls are painted in a light gray shade. The bedroom already shows a pop of color as the carpentry is painted in an apricot shade.

A glass door and wall to the bathroom is not something you often see in a home, but when your bathroom is as beautiful as this one, there is no reason why they chose this option. The bathroom also doesn’t have a window, so this way the room gets natural light from the windows in the bedroom.
The bathroom is moody, with dark blue walls and burgundy tiles. The bathroom vanity is made of teak wood and a marble top. On the floor lie black marble tiles.
The shower is made of concrete.
The hallway has plenty of room for storing coats, shoes, and bags. The carpentry is painted gray and on the floor lie marble tiles.
