Warm Colors and Painted Ceilings in a Swedish Apartment
Today, I want to share an apartment that is completely painted in neutral and warm color tones. The 84-square-meter apartment features original details, beautiful ornaments, and high ceilings that have been painted in darker shades than the walls to create a cozy ambiance.
I absolutely adore the warm color scheme in this three-bedroom apartment. Each room has its own color palette, but together with the other rooms, it creates a harmonious palette of pink, beige, and earth shades.
The living room has period details such as a ceiling rosette, moldings, and raised skirting boards, creating a classic look. The walls are painted in Jotun’s ‘Vanilla’ while the ceiling is painted in Jotun’s ‘Blushing Pink’.
The newly renovated kitchen is a charming space with plenty of cabinets and enough room for a dining table.
By the kitchen table, an arched niche was created with storage shelves, and the wine glass holder is also a pendant light.
The kitchen doors from Marbodal are painted in ‘Savanna Sunset’ by Jotun which are paired with tiles in the color Honey from Self Style and an oak worktop treated with dark pigmented hard wax oil.Â
The walls and ceiling are painted in Vanilj by Jotun.
The warm master bedroom has walls painted in Jotun’s ‘Blushing Peach’, and the ceiling is painted in ‘Organic Red’ by the same brand.
For a cohesive look, the built-in wardrobes are painted in the same color as the walls.
The second bedroom is used as a children’s room. The room is small, so they opted for a raised bed with drawers underneath to maximize storage space. The walls are painted in Alcro’s ‘Toddy’ and the ceiling and skirting boards in Alcro’s ‘Pine’.
.The other children’s room has pale pink walls and sage-coloured moldings.
