A Light Corner Apartment with a Pink Bedroom
Light pours into the rooms of this lovely apartment in Stockholm. Thanks to the position on the third floor of an Art Nouveau building, the rooms are even brighter in the winter months, and from the original slatted windows, you have a great view of the treetops outside the windows.
The one-bedroom apartment has a floorplan of 48 square meters, but thanks to the natural light and the light color tones used in decorating the home, it feels larger. The apartment was renovated a couple of years ago when a new kitchen was added and a herringbone parquet floor was laid in all rooms to create a harmonious look.
A nice element that instantly caught my eye is the rattan heating protection, which adds such a natural and warm vibe to the rooms. The entire home is decorated in such a lovely manner that it would be a joy to call this apartment home.
A large original three-part window to the south fills the living room with light and, together with the generous ceiling height, creates a wonderfully airy atmosphere.
The room is big enough for a seating area and a dining table. The sitting space is carefully defined by a light rug.
The other side of the living room is home to a dining table and gray bookcases. I think it would look even better with a larger dining table.
The kitchen is social and well planned with a breakfast table in front of the window with bench seating that also offer plenty of storage space.
The light gray kitchen cabinets are paired with marble patterned composite stone worktops and oak shelves from Norrgavel.
The bedroom is a lovely calm space with an old rose feature wall and wardrobes with sliding doors to take up as little space as possible.
