A Modern Architectural Villa in Tulum
I have posted quite a few bautiful homes in Tulum, Mexico. And today I want to share another beautiful Tulum house with you. The house is designed by CO-LAB (I have posted an eco-friendly Airbnb villa by their design previously on the blog. Click here).
Casa Aviv – as the villa is called – sits directly in the jungle which give the house a secluded look. The most notable design feature in this house is the large indoor/outdoor living space. Floor to ceiling glass doors can be opened entirely to create one continious living space.
If you live in a warm climate, this indoor/outdoor living is absolutely wonderful. It makes your home feel so much larger as well.
From the sofa, straight into the swimming pool. Who wouldn’t want that?
Though the interiors are mainly grey and neutral. The large windows bring nature inside.
“The warm grey polished cement walls contrast with black terrazzo floors. Charred cedar wood carpentry complements the neutral palette. The furnishings and light features were custom designed to fit the house and were fabricated by local artisans and in CO-LAB’s workshop.”
Sleek furnishings in straight lines give this home a serene and modern look.
The house has 4 en-suite bedrooms. The master bedroom has a private patio above the swimming pool.
Upstairs two bedrooms are connected by this bridge under the skylight.
Architecture and nature come together in this Tulum villa.
