A Neutral Colored Villa With A View on Bellingham Bay
A modern home today, but a modern home with a gorgeous view. Location on Bellingham Bay, this villa is a new built but with warm neutral interiors by Lisa Staton.
The villa is design by McClellan Architects and is situated on a beautiful spot. From the floor to ceiling windows you have an amazing view of the trees and water beyond.
Newly built homes can often look a bit cold, but in this villa they addd a wooden ceiling which instantly give the rooms in the house a lot of warmth.
The open plan living space is simply wonderful. The client (of Swedish descent) wanted a European-inspired living room. With layering of textures and neutral color tones.
The light oak floor boards give the space its neutral base, which is combined with walnut and black accents.
The kitchen island with a thin marble countertop creates plenty of seating space.
For the interiors Lisa Staton uses a combination of new, antique and custom made furnishings. The client already had a lovely antique collection which combines beautifully with the new modern pieces.
The master bedroom feels like a room of a luxurious hotel room in some sunny destination. White, cream and wood create a serene haven.
