A Peaceful 19th-Century London Home Where Past and Present Meet
You know I love historic homes and I’ve found another beauty. In the East End of London stands this 19th-century Grade II-listed two-bedroom house . The home has been carefully restored by the current owners (designers at Parsnip Interior Design) and you can feel the love for history the minute you step into the house.
The sitting area is decorated in a grey-green palette with a wood-burning stove to add character and warmth and bookshelves on both sides of the mantel. A new deVOL kitchen has been installed with cabinets painted in Farrow and Ball’s Studio Green and a new wooden floor in herringbone pattern.
The muted color tones continue in the two bedrooms upstairs but a nice color detail has been added in the bathroom where the walls have been painted a soft pink hue. I love the warm historic amtosphere in this home, this is how I want to live. And you can too, because the home is currently listed at Inigo.
