A Serene Rustic Apartment in London
Interior desgner Mark Lewis designed this serene apartment in a Victorian terrace house in London. Decorated in grey/blue hues and by using reclaimed materials did he create a wonderful calm but cozy space.
The wall between the living room and kitchen was knocked down to create a large open-plan living and dining space. The kitchen cabinets are made of reclaimed floorboards and the cabinets and dining table are painted in quick-drying chalk paint to create a harmonious vibe.
The little alcove in the living room was boarded up when the owner bought the house so it was a nice surprise to see this little nook appear which is perfect for a small office space. The combination of light colors, wood and cozy textures really make this a wonderful serene & cozy home.
