A Serene Vintage Home in Swedish Lapland
We’re going far north today to the small town of Arvidsjaur in Swedish Lapland. Here designer Emma Sundström created her dream home in soft grey tones. When Emma and her husband bought this house it was divided into three apartment, so a large renovation was in order. The end result is absolutely stunning, spacious rooms painted in soft grey tones and decorated with many vintage items and family treasures, mainly in natural materials.
The kitchen stil has its original iron fireplace and the original wooden floors were sanded and now look as new again. To add warmth to the rooms Emma used many natural textiles like linen, wool and sheepskin which enhances this natural atmosphere in the home. This home is making me completely relaxed and that’s a nice way to start the weekend.
