A Victorian Townhouse in London With A Pink Music Room
Surely you know by now that I love Victorian homes, I’ve posted many over the years because I can’t get enough of the historic elements in those house especially when they have been renovated with much attention to detail. That’s definitely the case in this Victorian townhouse in London.
The house on Thistlewaite Road in Clapton is divided over 5 levels, with a glazed kitchen extension and my favourite feature: a Juliet balcony in the music room. Original details have been retained and restored the townhouse with cornicing in the living rooms, ceramic floor tiles in the hallway and stained glass in the windows.
In the living room an new woodburner has been added within a marble fireplace for added charm. The kitchen has been extended and now includes skywindows for extra natural light and lovely views over the garden. The garden also houses a seperate building which is now used as a photographer’s studio. Upstairs are four bedrooms and two bathrooms one of which has bare-plaster walls in a soft pink hue (I always love a pink bathroom). Take a look below to see this beautiful London townhouse.
