A Colorful Loft in Amsterdam with Exposed Wooden Beams
Are you ready for some color? We’re heading to Amsterdam to tour a wonderful unique home that is packed with color and charm. The loft apartment is located in a historic building that dates back to 1889 and it is located on the top floors so it has slanted ceilings and better yet, many exposed wooden beams.
The townhouse is located on the corner meaning that you have windows on two sides, which makes the rooms bright. Despite the beams and slanted ceilings, thanks to the high ceilings the rooms feel airy and spacious.
The entire home is decorated with color, from a bright pink couch to a colorful striped wall. And the split-level spaces create a fun and dynamic home filled with character.
At the front of the house, the windows overlook de Amstel and De Pijp, one of the most charming areas in Amsterdam.
With such a wonderful view over the historic center of Amsterdam, it’s no surprise that they added a window seat. What a wonderful space to sit back and watch the boats or read a book.
Pink, orange, and yellow, this home combine several vibrant shades. It shows that you don’t have to be afraid of using several colors as long as you like them.
A few steps up leads to a cozy orange reading nook/home office.
The yellow wall adds a sunny touch to the kitchen. A large dining table with vintage chairs provide plenty of room for dinner parties.
In the bathroom, they added a more subtle color with these earthy pink walls.
