Colorful Rooms in a Historic London House

I’m all about color at the moment. Yesterday I posted a helpful guide to paint colors that will increase the value of your house (we’re talking thousands of dollars here). And today I’m going to give you a lovely home tour filled with colorful rooms.

This historic home is lcoated close to Greenwich Park in London. The 3-bedroom house has been carefully renovated and is now a lovely blend of historic touches with colorful details.

From the entrace you walk into the spacious open plan living, dining and kitchen area. The pink dining area with fireplace and wide wooden floor is the center of the home. It’s a lovely spot to gather with friends and family.

Before we move on to the rest of the open plan living and kitchen space, we take a look in the small but lovely reception room at the front of the house.

The terracotta wall color gives this room a lovely warm atmosphere. The room isn’t big but the warm colors and comfy sofa and pillow make for a lovely little snug/television room.

From the central dining area you move into the kitchen & living area. With a bright green color on the wall this is a bit different from the first two rooms in this house.

Double doors lead to a lovely private garden.

It’s aleady a light room with the double garden doors but the skylight brings even more natural light into this space.

The kitchen, again with skywindow, is lovely and bright. The kitchen cabinets are painted in a light pink and it has Corian work surfaces.

The master bedroom on the top floor is decorated in blue tones and it has its own bathroom.

Isn’t this just lovely? The master bathroom has plaster pink walls which I already love. But the floral pattern in the shower tiles really make me happy.

There are two bedrooms on the first floor, both with built-in closets, and there’s also a family bathroom.

The family bathroom is another colorful affair. Blue walls and geometric green & white tiles by Bert & May make this a vibrant little room.

The private garden has a tool shed. Which could also be a perfect #WFH room don’t you think?
