A London Townhouse with Rustic Elements
London townhouses are one of my most posted homes on The Nordroom. And not surprising because these historic homes are often so beautiful, I simply want to share it with you!
Today I want to share this Victorian townhouse on Winchester Avenue with you. The spacious townhouse has 5 bedrooms, multiple sitting rooms, and a large family kitchen.
There are many things that I like about this home, but mainly the split level from the kitchen to the reception room. And also the rustic decor elements that you see in this otherwise light-colored home.
The rustic decor adds character and warmth to this home. Plus it makes this Victorian townhouse just a little bit different from other townhouses I have posted.
This is the room were everything comes together. A beautiful rustic wooden floor, with vintage furnishings and art on the wall. A large modern window brings natural light to this room.
A few stairs down is the basement kitchen with large steel framed windows leading to the garden. The wooden ceiling with skylight, and wooden tables adds a rustic touch.
On the other side of the home office lies this neutral-colored sitting room. White curved sofa’s are combined with a natural jute rug. It’s neutral but still warm.
The tv room with built-in sofa.
In the basement is another sitting room (apparantly you can never have enough). A blue corner sofa pakced with cushions make this a cozy family room.
The master bedroom with sitting area in front of the bay windows and an en-suite bathroom.
Dusty pink color accents in the children’s room.
Outside is a spacious green garden with black wooden garden shed (perfect for a home office in my opinion).
