Nature-Inspired Colors in a Charming Stockholm Apartment
You know I love Scandinavian homes, and over the years, I’ve seen the ‘Scandi style’ evolve from very white and gray, minimalistic spaces to houses with more and warmer colors. Today, I want to share a one-bedroom apartment that is decorated in fairly neutral color tones but which still feels very warm and inviting.
You can create a warm atmosphere in your house by adding textiles in the right colors. At the moment, nature-inspired colors like terracotta, yellow, and blue are trendy, all of which are visible in this charming apartment.
The large windows flood the living room with natural light, which is then softened by the terracotta-colored sheer curtains that add a warm color tone to the room.
The beige walls and wooden floor already create a perfect warm base for the room. This is paired with a fresh blue couch with yellow cushions for a sunny color accent.
Each zone in the living room is defined by a rug. The dining area features a jute rug and a green Muller van Severen wall lamp.
The kitchen is small but wonderfully cozy, thanks to the country-style cabinets, wooden worktops, plants, and open shelves.
The apartment has a spacious bedroom facing the courtyard. The walls are decorated with the ‘Dancing Crane’ wallpaper from Borastapeter. The bedroom also features terracotta textiles for a warm look.
The bedroom has an extra cozy factor thanks to the working fireplace in the corner.
The apartment is listed for sale at Fastighetsbyran.
