We’re heading to Oslo to tour a beautiful 4-room apartment with light rooms, vibrant color accents, and architect-designed storage solutions that elevate this home.
There has gone much care into the design of this 90 square meter apartment in Norway. The material choice, storage solutions, and overal design of this two bedroom home is simply wonderful and very stylish.
When you think of a “statement room” you might think of a beautifully designed living room or kitchen but in this apartment, it’s the hallway. A room that’s usually a bit overlooked when you’re decorating a home.
The hallway lies central to the apartment with the living room and master bedroom on one side and the large kitchen on the other side. The hallway is clad in solid oak panels with on one side built-in wardrobe space.
The living room has a custom made sofa with underneath storage. The yellow pillows add a sunny and warm tone to the room.
The living room is small, but it’s a lovely room with wooden floorboards, colorful art, and a vibrant pink rug.
The living room opens up into te master bedroom with built-in wardrobes.
On the other side of the oak hallway lies a grand kitchen and dining room. The kitchen design is unique, the cabinets run all the way from the wall towards the central kitchen space. It adds a lot of cabinet space plus you get a clean kitchen look.
The kitchen is a large, light space with a wooden dining table and another vibrant pink rug.
The apartment has a small second bedroom that is painted in a natural green shade. IKEA Ivar cabinets – that are painted in the same shade as the walls – provide storage space. The other wall has a leaf wallpaper. A custom-built bed sits under the window and also has underneath storage.
