The Serene Vancouver Home of Former NHL Star David Jones
I you love a home completely decorated in neutral color tones. Stay on this page! Situated at the foot of the North Shore mountains stands the home of former NHL Hockey star David Jones and his family.
The new built home is designed by residential architecture firm Su Casa Design. And in this home they wanted to create the perfect family home where their children can run & play.
Even though the home is decorated in only light neutral color shades, it feels warm and comfortable. The interiors of this beautiful Vancouver home are by the hand of Kelly Deck in combination with Kimberly Jones who also runs her own interior design company.
On the ground floor you’ll find the social living spaces. The living room has light colored furnishings but a large stone fireplace and wooden accent add warmth to the space. Double glass doors lead to the green garden beyond.
A light Provincial style kitchen is at the heart of the home. With bar stools at the kitchen island it is also a place for gathering.
The ground floor living, kitchen and dining are are one big space. A beautiful wooden farmhouse-style dining table sits in front of the windows with a wonderful green view. It looks like the perfect spot for dinner parties with friends and family.
The nursery is also decorated in soft neutral color shades. And I love the window seat. Perfect for reading don’t you think?

The perfect bathroom with a clawfoot bath and a vintage touch
Even though the house is new, it has a classical feel to it. And the interiors turn it into a lovely warm and comfy family home.
