Trevor Noah Sells His Manhattan Penthouse with Roof Terrace
South African comedian, writer, and political commentator Trevor Noah is saying goodbye to his job of hosting “The Daily Show”. And at the same time, he is saying goodbye to his Manhattan penthouse that he has just listed with Nick Gavin of Compass.
Trevor Noah’s Manhattan penthouse spans two floors and has a total surface of 3,596Â sq. ft. The three-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bath Manhattan penthouse is located in the Stella Tower, a 1928 Art Deco building designed by architect Ralph Walker (the building is named after the architect’s wife). The tower was originally built as the New York Telephone Building but in 2014 the building was transformed into a luxury apartment complex.
Trevor Noah completely gutted the apartment when he bought it. The multi-year renovation completely transformed the floor plan. The master bedroom was moved to the lower floor to create a large open-plan living, kitchen, and playroom.

The upper floor houses an amazing open-plan living space with a kitchen/dining room and a play room. Arched doorways create separate zones while still maintaining a big flowing space.
The seating is places around a grigio carnico marble gas fireplace. The oversizes tufted velvet sofa is a fantastic design piece that serves as a fabulous statement piece.
The penthouse has fifteen-foot high ceilings, the large windows provide great views of the New York skyline.
Though the cast metal archway you reach the kitchen and dining room. The upper floor in this penthouse has French Oak flooring by Arbony laid out in chevron pattern.
The south facing kitchen and dining room provide views of the city and the river.
The open kitchen with breakfast bar has white oak cabinets and polished marble slab countertops.
In the living room and in this play area you have access to a 1,000 square foot terrace with two unobstructed exposures and plunge pool.
A floating staircase leads to the lower floor with three bedrooms suites, one of which is now a home cinema.
The master bedroom has a private foyer, a hand-rubbed cortina leather wall, Kamp Studios lime-washed walls, and dual dressing rooms.
From the freestanding bath in the master bathroom you ahve viewsof the city and the Hudson River. It also features dual Calacatta Vagli slab marble vanities and limestone floors.
The roof terrace at Trevor Noah’s Manhattan penthouse is something else. It has a comfortable dining area with an outdoor kitchen and surrounded by plants.
The lounge area has a spectacular view of the New York skyscrapers.
The landscaped terrace has a custom teak pergola and plunge pool. The heated plunge pool has built-in speakers and heaters.
This spectacular penthouse is for sale for $12,950,000 at Compass.
