A Villa in San Francisco Made of Concrete and Wood

A couple of weeks ago I shared a wonderful modern rustic a-frame cabin design by Yana Prydalna and today I’ll share another design project by here namely a concrete & wood villa in San Francisco.

Golden Villa, as she called the project, is a natural beauty. The double height living space has a wonderful blend between light colors and warm wooden touches. Especially the wooden beams on te ceilng are a perfect design feature.

I really like the combination of straight clean lines with warm light bohemian touches with all the natural decor pieces made of wicker and jute. A wonderful combination of warm and cold materials.

A sleek concrete kitchen island stands on one end with large wicker pendant lights to add that warm natural look.

The bedroom has ribbed glass and wood built-in closets divided by a little home office. A large round jute rug adds warmth to the bedroom. (click here to see more tips on how to create a home office in a small space)
