A Cabin in the Woods by Forestbound Founder Alice Saunders
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a better cabin than this one in New Hampshire by Forestbound founder Alice Saunders. You might know Alice or her company Forestbound from her Escape travel bags made of found and salvaged textiles.
Her cabin in New Hampshire is the perfect example when you talk about being off grid. There’s only cell reception if you row to the center of the lake, there’s no running water or electricity and no proper roads lead to the cabin.
Together with her boyfriend did she renovate the small cabin with a low budget but the result certainly doesn’t look cheap. The little cabin is decorated in a rustic serene style filled with cozy textiles and carefully selected furniture. This is what a cabin in the woods should look like, wow!
