A Swedish Apartment with Light-Filled Rooms
The south-facing location of the living spaces brings beautiful natural light into this apartment. The charming 1920s apartment is perfect for home sharing as the living spaces are generous; there are two spacious double bedrooms and two bathrooms. And judging from the pictures, I suspect that two friends or siblings live in this home.
The two-bedroom Stockholm apartment has been renovated in recent years while also taking care of the original features of the period home. There is a beautiful flow in this apartment, with a large inner hall that connects the living room with the kitchen and one of the bedrooms. The inner hall is used by the owners as a dining room but it could also be a study.

The living room is a cozy space with light gray star patterned wallpaper and a connection to the south facing balcony that offers a great view of the surrounding Stockholm buildings.
In the middle of the apartment there is an ‘inner hall’ (as the swedes call it). This room connects to all other rooms in the apartment, and the glass double doors toward the living room bring natural light to this inner space.
The kitchen is a new addition to the apartment. The current owner widened the room so it can also accommodate a breakfast table.
The kitchen is fitted with modern white cabinets and the shelves above the worktop, instead of cabinets, add an airy feeling to the room.
The apartment has two white painted bedrooms with the original parquet floor and built-in wardrobes.
The walls in the hallway are decorated with Josef Frank’s Eldblomma wallpaper.
The narrow hall is kept tidy with Ikea shoe storage.
