Benjamin Moore’s Color of the Year 2027 is Webster Green
We’re back with another Color of the Year 2027, and it’s another green! Benjamin Moore paint brand has chosen Webster Green HC-130 as its 2027 Color of the Year.
After previous colors Silhouette, Cinnamon Slate, Blue Nova, and Raspberry Blush, Webster Green, a confident mid-tone green with enough character to stand on its own and the versatility to work across a range of interior styles, is the brand’s first green choice since October Mist in 2022.
Accompanied by a palette of warm neutrals, dusky pastels, and richer shades, Webster Green reflects an interest in spaces that feel welcoming, composed, and personal. It is a color with familiar roots, given a fresh context through contemporary combinations.

A Classic Green for Today’s Homes
Green’s ability to adapt is central to Benjamin Moore’s choice. It has remained a familiar presence in interiors through changing tastes, working just as comfortably in traditional rooms as in more modern settings.
For 2027, Benjamin Moore wanted a shade that felt relevant today while offering a sense of continuity. Webster Green emerged as a natural fit: substantial enough to bring definition to a room, yet easy to incorporate into an existing scheme.
“The green color family’s ability to adapt and transform makes it incredibly timeless,” says Andrea Magno, Benjamin Moore’s Vice President of Brand, Color, and Integrated Marketing.
Webster Green captures that versatility. Its balance of blue and yellow gives it both composure and warmth, letting it add a noticeable dose of color without overwhelming a space.

How to Use Webster Green at Home
For anyone looking to bring more color into their interiors, Webster Green offers several starting points. Painted built-ins can become a defining feature of a living room, while green trim adds interest alongside neutral walls.

Used on architectural details, the shade helps draw attention to the elements that give a home its character.

Webster Green can also make an impact in an entryway. Its confident tone creates a welcoming first impression and establishes personality from the moment you step inside.

For a more immersive approach, Benjamin Moore suggests an all-green scheme. Extending the color across walls and woodwork creates a cohesive room with a strong identity, while the balanced mid-tone keeps the overall effect composed.
Taking Green Outside
Webster Green also works well on front doors and exterior details. On a door, it provides a clear focal point and an inviting introduction to the home.

Its connection to the surrounding landscape helps it sit comfortably alongside garden planting while still defining the entrance.
The shade’s warmth and depth make it a versatile option for adding character to an exterior, whether used as a small accent or across a larger surface.

The Benjamin Moore Color Trends 2027 Palette
Alongside Webster Green, Benjamin Moore’s Color Trends 2027 palette brings together eight hues shaped by an interest in warm, welcoming interiors.
The palette offers both softer and more expressive combinations. Muted neutrals and relaxing pastels suit quieter spaces, while stronger mid-tones add depth to living areas and smaller rooms.

Pairing the gentler shades introduces a playful quality, while pairing them with deeper colors adds definition to the scheme. At the center of the collection, Webster Green connects these different moods.
