Pearl Lowe’s Light Bohemian Beach House Kitchen

When an email from British kitchen design company deVOL shows up in your mailbox you know you’re in for something good.

And I couldn’t be more right about this kitchen. British style icon Pearl Lowe and her husband bought a holiday home, only minutes from the beach. And they decided to add a new deVOL kitchen to their new beach home.

Pearl and Danny choose the deVOL Shaker kitchen cabinets for their new beach home. But when you look at this kitchen you can hardly believe that this is a new kitchen.

Pearl has the huge talent to make any room look cozy. She effortlessly combines furniture, textiles, quirky and unusual object to create a personal and warm home.

The Shaker deVOL kitchen in Pearl’s beach home is simply designed. On one wall you see the Shaker kitchen in “Linen” color hue. A prep table painted in “Scullery Yellow” with a copper countertop adds a little color to the beach home.

Beside the kitchen cabinets they also opted for a sink and tiles by deVOL. The fluted sink, marble countertop and handmade Cotes Mill Tiles add a light touch to the kitchen. Perfect for a beach home.

In the back you can also see a wall cabinet by deVOL from their Haberdasher collection.

The copper pots hang from the brash rail on the exposed wooden beam.

The kitchen includes a little seating area and of course a dining table. This kitchen is a stunning room. The light colors and white wooden floor give a true beach vibe to the room.

But the vintage textiles, furniture and decor pieces add a homely feeling to the room. I imagine that this kitchen is truly the heart of the home in Pearl’s beach house.
