Bold Colors in a 1920s Villa in Sweden
We’re ending the week with a wonderful home in Sweden that is painted in bold color tones. The 1920s villa has been carefully renovated and turned into a colorful family home.
The Swedish home still features original details such as slatted mouth-blown windows, massive oak floors in a herringbone pattern, and a fireplace. These historic elements are combined with modern interiors.
While the entire home is absolutely lovely. The great selling point of this villa is the home spa in the basement with a sauna and a large bath.
Every room of the house has colorful elements and the living room is painted in a bold teal color on the walls. The built in cabinets are painted in the same shade to blend in perfectly. Double doors lead to the partially glazed summer veranda.
From the living room you enter the dining room which can also be closed off by double wooden doors.
The dining room has dark gray walls but a fabulous color accents is added with the turquoise painted ceiling.
The villa has a wonderful kitchen with green painted cabinets and walls. The kitchen has windows in two directions overlooking the garden.
A small dining area sits in the corner of te kitchen space with a small round marble table and Eames chairs.
Tha hallway is decorated with Cole and Son Flamingos wallpaper.
The master bedroom is decorated in a serene gray shade on the walls and the floor. But vibrant color accents are added with the green velvet headboard and a spectacular painted ceiling.
The main bathroom has glossy deep green tiles and a geometric black and white pattern on the floor.
The house has four bedrooms, in this childrens room they combined gray with purple.

Even the spa room in the basement has a color accents with the lovely colorful floor tiles.
