Jonah Hill Sells His Modern Manhattan Loft
Actor Jonah Hill is selling his impressive contemporary Manhattan loft. Originally, the 3,200-square-foot loft had four bedrooms. But Jonah Hill turned it into an impressive three-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bath loft space.
What makes this Manhattan loft so unique are the 12’ exposed brick barrel vaulted ceilings. Which can be seen in the sitting area as well as two bedrooms.
The walls in this contemporary loft apartment have been custom limewashed to perfection by Axel Vervoodt’s preferred artisan. And these white walls lend themselves perfectly to showcase Jonah Hill’s art collection.
Four arched windows floor the main living space with light. The large space has two modern seating areas, tied together with a large light rug.
The black dining table is surrounded by eight Pierre Jeanneret chairs.
The light gray kitchen has Calacatta marble countertops and slab stone island with marble waterfall.
The master bedroom is huge (31’ x 12’7) and also has beautiful exposed brick barrel-vaulted ceilings. The bedroom is so large that it also has the space for a lounge area which is defined by a wall-to-wall rug.
The three windows with light wood niches look out over the courtyard garden designed by Ken Smith.
The bathrooms are in the same style with wooden vanities and Calacatta marble baths.
The two additional bedrooms also have exposed brick vaulted ceilings and both come with an en-suite bath.
The Schumacher
Jonah Hill’s NoHo loft is located in The Schumacher, an exclusive 7-story apartment complex with only 20 units. The Schumacher was built in 1883 in Romanesque Revival-style and designed by Edward E. Raht. It once housed the Schumacher and Ettinger Lithography studio. It was redesigned by Morris Adjmi Architects into an exclusive apartment complex.
The NoHo loft is listed by Nick Gavin at Compass for $10,995,000.
