A Light Nordic Attic Loft with Raw Walls and Skylights
In Gothenburg, the top floor of an apartment complex has recently been renovated into a stunning light small loft home. The home combines stylish Scandi design with raw materials.
The small loft is only 35 square meter, but it has been perfectly designed with many features built on-site in high quality materials. The floorplan is well designed creating a separate sleeping area and creating smart storage solutions.
It’s a beautiful small home with stylish Nordic design, raw materials, and light-filled spaces.
Natural light floods into this attic loft through large windows and a skylight. A balcony provides extra living space in the summer months.
The sand tone on the wall adds a soft touch to the white and black color scheme.
The kitchen was built on site by Taras Hallgren & Son. The combination of warm oak veneer kitchen cabinets in combination with raw brick walls is beautiful.
On the left, an awkward nook next to the entrance has a custom made wardrobe to keep the entry neat and tidy which is important if you don’t have a closed off entry/hallway.
The bedroom at the end of the apartment is very light thanks to two skylights with electric blinds. Also in this space you see a raw wall for that cool loft vibe.
The little nook has a small wardrobe in the same oak veneer that we saw in the kitchen. Though small, the bedroom is big enough for a double bed.
The small gray bathroom, between the bedroom and the living room, is designed in a combination of oak veneer and light gray terrazzo tiles.
