A Studio Apartment with Light Pink Walls and Vintage Furniture
Studio apartment are always a favorite of mine. I love to see how owners create a beautiful home in a small space. One of my most popular articles is a studio apartment with midcentury furnishings, and today I want to share another midcentury studio.
The apartment is located in Stockholm, and has a generous floor size of 42 square meters. Thanks to the separate kitchen with room for a dining table, it feels pretty spacious and functional.
The main room is painted in a lovely light pink hue which pairs well with the wooden floor. The sunny location of the apartment means that the balcony is a welcoming extension to the living space.
Lots of different textiles and colors are used to decorate the studio, creating a lively and cozy atmosphere.
The main room has plenty of space for a comfortable seating area and a double bed in the corner. This is also decorated with a variation of textiles, creating a comfy lounge spot.
The kitchen is in original state from when the apartment was built in the early 1950s. The gray green doors and checkerboard floor create a perfect midcentury vibe.
There is plenty of cabinet space in the kitchen and room for a generous kitchen table in front of the window.
