A Pink and Blue London Apartment

Pink and blue, is an interior color combination that has been featured multiple times on The Nordroom. And for good reason, because these colors compliment each other wonderfully.

Today, we tour a two bedroom apartment in London that has been painted in soft pink and dark blue. The apartment is located in a Victorian building and inside you can still see some original features and of course lovely high ceilings.

The ground floor apartment not only has lovely rooms indoors, but it also has a garden which is quite a treat when you live in London.

The pink and blue sitting room has a large bay window that floods the room with light. On the floor lies the original wooden floor and you can still see the original cornicing for a historic touch.

One niche next to the sofa is painted in a dark blue hue which creates a cozy reading nook.

Bespoke joinery is fitted to the room that adds bookshelves, storage space, and a small home office to the sitting room.

Through a wide archway you enter the kitchen. On the floor lie geometric porcelain floor tiles.

The black kitchen cabinets are combined with leather handles and a walnut veneer worktop which add a warm touch to the kitchen.

Through the kitchen you enter the hallway where you can get to the two bedrooms.

The main bedroom has the same dark blue color accents as in the living room. I love how they created a canopy above the bed with just a lick of dark paint.

The apartment has a south facing garden with curving beds around the lawn filled with wildflowers, vegetables, and a mature magnolia.

This home in London is currently for sale at The Modern House.
