Color and Texture in a London Home
We are going to start the week with some color. We all like that right? Especially on a gray January day. Today’s home is located in London and it’s a stunnner.
This home is a double fronted townhouse in the Holland Park region of England’s capital. The house has recently been redesigned by Studio Duggan and if you’ve seen projects by them before you will definitely recognize the style.
Studio Duggan loves to use color and texture in the homes they design. And this London home is no different. Every room in this house has a colorful elements. From a pink sitting room with green velvet sofa to a navy blue home office.
Color and texture come together in this lovely sitting room. The curved furnishing is something I expect to see a lot on 2022, as you can see in The Nordroom’s Interior Trends 2022.
The dining room is also pink with a warm wooden floor, tropical plants and green chairs. According to the designer this home is ‘Club Tropicana meets Holland Park’.
The second sitting room is painted in a moody blue color. Built-in cabinets with curtains adds extra texture and warmth to the room.
The perfect work from home spot. In front of the window with a curved desk and vintage cane chair.
Many furniture pieces in this home are custom made. If you love this style you should take a look at Studio Duggan’s shop Trove. The home and lifestyle brand offers unique furniture pieces designed by Studio Duggan ánd vintage pieces.
The calm bedroom has a lovely colorful statement piece with the pink velvet headboard. It’s complimented with green and blue tones.
