A Colorful Georgian Home in England
I am bringing some color to your screens with this lovely Georgian home in Westerham, England. The house was built around 1760 and has recently been renovated into a colorful family home.
Every room in this Georgian house has been painted in a different color shade. From a terracotta kitchen with petrol blue kitchen cabinets. To a soft yellow master bedroom.
I love it when home owners are bold with color and color combinations. You could also see that in Heather’s Victorian Scottish home that I posted not long ago.
But back to this Georgian beauty. Let’s take a tour of this colorful gem in the Kent area of England.
A bold way to start this home tour. With a kitchen/dining room with terracotta walls and contrasting petrol blue kitchen cabinets.
This is a room made for living. The large space has plenty of room for a large dining table and even a piano!
Moving on to the living room with soft blue walls. A gorgeous Arts & Crafts fireplace is accompanied by bookshelves on either side.
Why have a regular door when you can salvage such gorgeous steel and class doors? What a feature!
Next to the main living room lies this pale pink snug. Again with a fireplace. A pale pink shade like this is one of the trending colors for 2022
The master bedroom is painted in a soft yellow shade. And it includes a small work area (and en-suite bathroom)
The second bedroom has period wooden panelling painted in a calm shade that’s a mix of pink and purple.

There not one room in this house that doesn’t have color. So obviously the children’s room is also colorful. With soft green wood panelling and pink details.
