Rustic Wooden Elements in a Stylish Tulum Airbnb
Tulum is a town on the Caribbean coastline of the Yucatán Peninsula in Mexico that is known for its stunning beaches, Mayan ruins, lush jungles, lagoons, and vibrant nightlife. It’s no wonder that Tulum is a popular holiday destination in Mexico.
Architecture and interior firm Terreo Studio has designed multiple beautiful homes in Tulum that can be rented on Airbnb. Their perfectly designed homes are known for their stylish interiors using natural materials, calm color choices, and lush outdoor spaces.
Today, I want to share this beautiful Tulum Airbnb home that has also been designed by Terreo Studio. The home is located in the La Veleta area of Tulum, which is a relaxed area, perfect for a recharging holiday in the sun.
And if you like this home, you can find more Airbnb homes that have been designed by Terreo Studio at the end of this article.
Casa Mye is a two-bedroom home located on the ground floor of an artistic, residential complex. As with every home that is designed by Terreo Studio, it has beautiful interiors with custom-made furniture, natural materials, decorative and storage niches, and a beautiful outdoor space with a swimming pool.
The house has an open-plan living room and kitchen with access to the private courtyard garden. The living room is small, but it has a comfortable custom built-in sofa with a round coffee table. And when you open the doors leading to the garden, you include the outdoors with the living area.
The large rustic wooden mirror makes the room feel larger and brighter. On the floor lies a jute rug to create a natural look.
From the living room, you enter the kitchen and dining area. This room also has a built-in bench, just like the sitting room. And the cushions in the same blue shade create a harmonious natural look.
On the opposite side sits a small but perfectly functional kitchen with rustic wooden cabinets and a black worktop with a backsplash. The shelf above the cabinets keeps it airy.
From the kitchen you also have access to the garden area through a stunning arched steel and glass door.
The main bedroom is decorated in a muted blue shade, and it has a rustic wooden wardrobe made from the same wood as the kitchen cabinets.
The custom wardrobe with open and closed cabinets sits perfectly in the niche.
The master bedroom also has access to the garden through steel and glass doors.
The second bedroom has a muted pink color scheme. The bed fits perfectly in the niche with on one side a clothing rack and on the other side built-in storage shelves.
The bathroom is stylish, with a sink made from the same materials as the walls, creating a calm and sleek bathroom design.
Through the arch, there is a walk-in shower. I like that the bathroom has black fittings contrasting the light color scheme.
The walled garden is perfect, with many plants, a small swimming pool, and a waterfall. This beautiful Tulum holiday home designed by Terreo Studio can be booked on Airbnb.
