A Swedish Maisonette with Warm Pink Living Room
In an apartment complex in Sweden that was built in 1924 stands this beautiful renovated maisonette home. The current owners have not only renovated this home but they also added an extra attic floor that now houses a big social kitchen space.
Every room in this house has been given an update. From freshly painted walls to a new bathroom. But the biggest addition is of course the kitchen space.
In 2017 the upper floor was added to make space for a stylish kitchen space with a roof terrace attached. The bright room has wooden beams, skylights, and a large stainless steel kitchen.
The kitchen is specially designed by Kök & Interiör in Spinneriet in Lindome. The stainless steel kitchen has deep worktops and plenty of cabinets for storage.
Harmonica doors lead to a spacious roof terrace filled with plants and with plenty of seating space.
This is truly a social kitchen space with a large island and a dining table that is big enough to seat eight people.
One floor down are the living room and bedrooms. The living room is painted in an earthy pink shade called Daydream by Jotun.
The stucco and fireplace are original and give the space a historic detail. The pink walls add a warm tone to the room.
The master bedroom has a dark painted herringbone floor. The walls are decorated with the Deco Fan wallpaper by Helene Blanche.
Behind a curtain they added a wardrobe made by the Elfa system.
On the new attic floor is also a bathroom with a beautiful freestanding copper bath under the skylight.
The guest room/office is a serene space with the walls painted in Jotun’s Minerals Senses & Warm Gray.
The bright kids bedroom has the “Big Cats” wallpaper by Renn Designs on one of the walls.
There is a second bathroom/wash room in a simple color palette of black hexagon tiles and white wall tiles.
