Just as you don’t have to be afraid of bright colors, you also shouldn’t shy away from dark and moody color tones in a hallway. This dark gray hallway in a unique bohemian home in Sweden shows how great dark tones paired with bright color accents looks.

Say yes to bold color combinations! This hallway is created with colors from the Dulux Color Forecast 2024. In this hallway, they used the colors ‘Carmen’ and ‘Swedish Blue.’

In the hallway of a Norwegian apartment, they added a burgundy-colored custom-made cabinet. On the right side, the cabinet is deeper, so it can store coats.

In 2023, Farrow and Ball released an all-new dead flat paint finish. This finish is the most matte finish to date, adaptable for various surfaces, including walls, woodwork, and metal.

This hallway is painted in Selvedge with the Dead Flat finish. Selvedge is one of the eleven new colors by Farrow and Ball that were added to the collection this year.

You can use a colorful curtain if you have a small hallway but still want to hide certain elements or storage space. It will add color and texture to the small space and help your hallway look tidy. This small hallway in a cozy Swedish apartment shows the beauty of a curtain.

What a way to make an entrance. The Beverly Hills home of Fredrik Eklund is decorated with seventeen shades of pink, and in the hallway/foyer, you can already see several pink shades. The high ceilings and grand staircase give you a peek of the amazing design you will find in this home.

These were my favorite hallways of 2023. If you want to look at the best spaces of previous years, you can check out the entire best of category by clicking here.
