In the last week of the year, it is time to look back at the finest interiors and outdoor spaces published on The Nordroom in 2025. Today, I will share the best hallways of 2025.

Paint company Glidden chose ‘Warm Mahogany’ as its Color of the Year 2026. They painted this bootroom in their trending color, featuring a classic checkerboard marble floor and white tongue-and-groove paneling.



The hallway in a midcentury apartment is a beautiful combination of lilac and butter-yellow. The wooden floors give the space character, and there is plenty of storage with wall hooks, a bench, and IKEA Ivar cabinets.

Dark red and a fresher pink tone are paired in this hallway for a warm, deep, and rich look. It even includes a small home office space.


This medieval English country house features two magnificent hall spaces. The central, galleried entrance hall is a dramatic, triple-height space with a soaring open-timber roof. The floor is tiled with pamment bricks, and a large open fireplace with a substantial bressummer (support beam) creates a warm focal point.
The second hall, in the modern glass-fronted extension, features an oak-beamed open-pitch structure that echoes the design of the original cross hall in the main house.
