The first of several deVOL Kitchens that you will see in this article. The former playroom in the Victorian house of interior designer Maddalena Minerva has been transformed into a grand family kitchen with exposed beams.
With slanted ceilings on both sides, it’s a small and unusual room for a kitchen, but interior designer Heidi Caillier transformed this space in a San Francisco apartment into a beautiful kitchen.
I think almost everyone loves a cottage kitchen. This green kitchen with a terracotta floor can be found in the ‘Green Kitchen Design Ideas’ article.
A Victorian house in London has been extended in the back to create a large kitchen and dining space. The black cabinets are paired with warm yellow tilework and decor.

The English cottage of photographer Carole Poirot was put up for sale this year, and the home includes one of the finest kitchens I’ve ever seen. Her French-style kitchen is made of deVOL cabinets, and it’s perfect. You can see her house tour here, and more pictures of her kitchen can be found here.
A Victorian apartment that is decorated in bold colors features this cozy kitchen with cabinets made from reclaimed pitch pine and yew imported from Ireland, and they are topped by a hardy green onyx marble.
The renovated country house of Clarence & Graves features in almost every Best of 2023 article. The colorful kitchen is made from deVOL cabinets, which are paired with striped wallpaper and yellow walls. You can also find more pictures in this article.
Bonus: the laundry room in Clarence & Graves’ colorful countryside home is equally beautiful. The deVOL cabinets are painted in a beautiful coral-pink shade.

A Georgian home in England is packed with history and color and you can certainly see that in the kitchen. The kitchen is adorned with plank and muntin paneling, painted in a warm ochre hue, and features a sturdy brick subfloor.

A Victorian watch shop was transformed into a sustainable home. The dark green oak kitchen cabinets are from Naked Doors.
Paint company PPG has chosen a pale yellow called ‘Limitless’ as their Color of the Year 2024. A color that will also look beautiful in a kitchen.
A cozy Swedish apartment has an eye-catching kitchen with bold green cabinets and brass accents.
deVOL Kitchens has teamed up with Lee, founder of handmade tile company Bert & May, for a warm and slightly retro-style kitchen in their Yorkshire home. The Haberdasher cabinets were used to create an L.A. meets Southern Europe vibe.

That kitchen cabinets don’t have to be one color can be seen in the ’57 Stylish Two-Tone Kitchen Cabinet Ideas’ article, which includes this pink, yellow, and green kitchen.
A 17th Century Barn House has been fitted with a new deVOL Sebastian Cox kitchen. Together with the brick floor and exposed wooden beams, the room is packed with charm and character.
This black kitchen was featured on The Nordroom’s Tumblr page. I love the combination of black cabinets, shelves, and the exposed brick wall.
